This is a new find in Sørenga, only 5 minutes by walk from the National Opera in Oslo.
Here the chef will serve you better tapas than you will find in Spain. Most of their dishes are homemade and fresh. When we arrived the chef was busy making meatballs.
We tried their 10-course tapas and were impressed by every bite and plate. Each plate complemented each other wonderfully.
Must try plates are:
-Datiles con bacon
-Setas del bosque
-Entrecôte con salsa de cabrales
A huge plus for their great service. The waiter was dedicated and friendly and even the Chef took the time to come out and say hello. He personally greeted the guests and asked about our opinion about the food. Impressive attitude and service!
Try their "Boubbles Sunday" - a bottle of cava for only 250 nok. A glass of wine costs ~90 nok. Each tapas plate ~120 nok.
Promenaden Mat & Vinhus is definately worth the 5 minutes walk from the Opera.
