This is an excellent location with a surprisingly inexpensive menu. However, the curry is extremely mild. That's not necessarily a bad thing, and if you've never eaten Indian, this isn't a place to be frightened of the food. If you're looking for spices, you won't find them here.

And whatever you do, don't order the garlic naan! The naan in general seemed more like reheated pita, and rather than having garlic cooked in, the garlic naan was produced by brushing a regular "naan" with garlic oil. Not much flavor, messy, and generally unpleasant.

If I'm looking for cheap Indian food in downtown Oslo, I'll walk a few more blocks down to central station and visit Rasoi. However, there aren't a lot of budget eateries along Karl Johans gate, so I will definitely return at some point to try the Italian part of the menu.

We called into this shopping center "Fast food" cafeteria and to be honest it was one of the best cheapest meals we had in Oslo.

This is more like a "fast food" restaurant located in a small shopping centre in the upper part of Oslo`s main street Karl Johan.
There is a selection of Indian and Italian dishes, rather expensive for a place where you order at the ill, pick up your own cutlery, and pick up the food at the counter when it is ready
Only one vegetarian choice at the Indian part of the menue, and this was the most tasteless Indian dish I have ever eaten. More like a plate of rice with some vegetable stew, no spice, no taste. The socalled nan breads was probably from the freezer (or at least not freshly baked), heated and some garlic butter poured over it. Was like chewing rubber
If you want an Indian meal, this is certainly not the place to go
If you just want a quick meal, there are better places near by
Service was not the concept of this place, so I cannot complain about the lack of it. However the staff looked extremely bored, and not a smile in sight
