We visited this restaurant in February, as we were looking for a steakhouse in downtown Oslo that wasn't very formal. We managed to get the last available table early on a Saturday evening, and though there was a time limit on how long we could have the table, they did not rush us. In fact, everything was so efficient that we enjoyed our meals and had time to sit and chat afterwards.
I was pleased by the fact that they bring glasses of water to your table without asking, which is not standard in Norway. The staff were also very friendly and clearly knew what they were doing. The food was of a good standard, with a slight minus for overcooked asparagus, but considering that we were also paying less for our meal than other restaurants in the neighborhood, that didn't detract much from the experience.
We were slightly misled by the online booking system into thinking that there would be more tables available than was the case. This was due to it being a fairly small restaurant, albeit charming with wood and brick, and large windows. So if you decide you want to eat here, I would recommend you book in advance.
