Fresh bread and sweets everyday.. should I say more? Try the olive bread and the tomato bread, they're heavenly! :)

I love this place. The food is fresh, high quality food. The cafe is great and they have a coffee of the day thing that is cheap and you get to try coffee from all over the world. The menu is often changing which can be sad when you have fallen in love with something but the positive side is that it's always interesting to try something new. They have great soup too! Great bread, great croissant... Mmm I love this place!

The bakery is as beautiful as the pictures - glass windows for you to enjoy the warm sunlight (especially in summer) - and fresh bread! Not only that, they sell breakfast and lunch too. Went there at 1.30pm for lunch - a lot of people! But it wasn't overcrowded. Had the bruschetta with salad (110 kr), quiche with salad (99 kr), skotbrod (29 kr) [which was basically bread with sweet custard in the middle and sprinkled with coconut flakes and flavored with a rose-y smell - quite unique, though not my fav]. LOVED the bruschetta, though it was rather expensive. But in Oslo, considered decent price! We bought a whole loaf of bread for 40 kr (will be our breakfast for the next few days...). Latte with double shot was 40 kr. Overall, pricing was average. It's Oslo, and Oslo's just plain expensive EVERYWHERE.

Thank goodness they speak English - their menu's in Norwegian, can't understand. Had them translate some of the stuff on the menu for me. Very helpful!

Popped in on a Saturday just before lunchtime with some friends, and whilst it was busy soon found a table. Be aware, you'll probably need to share the bench tables with other groups if there aren't many of you. Lots of families - and lots of fresh food. Baked goods, fresh salads and nice coffee.

Dishes/salads are made to order, and if I hadn't had such a large breakfast, would have ordered more.

Nice place to get warm and catch up with friends after a walk in the bracing Oslo winter.
