I craved for a bowl of warm soup, so I did a bit of research on the net. One place that poped-up, but was not reviewed at TripAdvisor, was restauran Lokk. When I went there, I was a pleasently suprised!
Interior decoration was modest, but atmosphere warm and friendly. The soup of the day was exquisite (brown bean puree based, with pickled paprika, bacon and creme fraiche), as was the bread. The service was on highest level, with professional but friendly waiter (it made it even better that she was quite good-looking :).
All in all, Lokk is the right place to get warm on a cold night in Oslo.
Tip: Check the daily 3 course menu. It is perfectly assembled around the soup of the day.
