I have been to this restaurant several times. In general the food is good and it has a good reputation locally. However, last nights visit was not up to par. We ordered dim sum and a chicken dish. And we waited. And we waited. Eventually the dim sum came. And we waited. Finally the chicken dish came. As noted, the food was good, but the service needs some fine tuning so that we could all get our food promptly and at the same time.

Menu with lot of choices of dim sum and main courses. Dim sum is very tasty and good. We also ate lamb with garlic and ginger, nice. The restaurant is not fancy and furnitures are old. Our waitress could be more serviceminded, but they serve food and drinks quickly. Don't wait for recommandation of drinks, just order wine or beer. Lot of people here at a thuesday evening.

We were a very large group and apparently had preordered dim sum dinner specials. The variety was not great, and vegetarians were very ill served by the selection we were given. Staff did not say one word about what they brought or what would be coming after. Beer and wine was plentiful, however...

I have been to Bejing palace twice over the past few months. They have a great selection of Dim Sum. The service is good and efficient. This is rather more casual than many other dim sum places around the world. I would recommend the lotus wheat buns (no 98) and the Che Hou Ngau Lam (no 28) and Shuen Chok Kin (no 19). The noodle dishes are large and good for sharing.

This is a great place to go with friends, just remember to make a reservation as it can be quite busy for dinner service.

Can only say that, I was so disappointed and left that place hungry, because nothing they served deserve to be call Chinese cuisine or dim sum..
