Stayed here for a business conference. Nice hotel, very expensive compared to rest of the world. OK< but not spectacular. While it is away from the centre, there is easy access via the metro system, which is quick, efficient and relatively inexpensive. Breakfast is OK, but overall a pleasant, if unspectacular stay. Walking along the canal is nice, and the long days make exploring after the conference easy.

Room Tip: Facing the canal makes a nice view.

Stayed here with my daughter on 3-day trip to Oslo. Room was clean and nicely furnished, but expensive (like the rest of Oslo) and far from city center. Only complaint with room was the heating and water. Sun faced sun for most of the day and the air conditioner didn't work, so by the end of the day, our room was an oven. As for the water, for part of our stay, it came out of the faucet very hot and we were unable to get cold water. Breakfast in the morning was included with the room and was very ample. Lots of variety and very tasty. Would stay here again.

Stayed here with my 3-yrs son for a weekend. Not located in downtown, but metro stop is literally next to hotel and you can reach it in 15 minutes. Average rooms, providing enough space. Good breakfast and nice lobby area. This can be a suitable option for those with kids.

This new looking hotel is OK in every respect, but that's it. Nothing to really complain about but also nothing to praise either.
The hotel is clean and feels new, but is soulless. Beds in the room OK, but more basic than fine.
It is 6 to 7 km from the very city center.
In the surroundings of the hotel there was nothing but office buildings etc.
The reception confirmed this while asked for places to see.
The first day I was weighing between 3 and 4 stars. The second day it was clear that my review is three stars.

The hotel seemed to be almost empty, however we were given probably the most boring room with a view just on the gravel roof top of lower levels. You can see far from upper levels presumably. The breakfast room's waitresses did not greet.
This summoned the picture of a hotel that could be more, but it does not care to be.
Nor do I. I've already forgotten what it looks like.

Room Tip: Ask for upper levels for better views.

I stayed at the hotel for a conference that was going on right across the street at BI. Oslo is expensive and the taxis are the most expensive anywhere. The first thing I liked was the proximity of the hotel to the Metro station (less then 100 meters). Oslo has a very safe, efficient and clean metro system so this was a plus. Connected to the hotel is a small mall with a super market and some eating places. Also the at the back is the river (or large stream) which is a great place for a stroll in summers. The hotel has a 24 hour reception, the staff was very friendly and helpful - I guess this is true for Oslo as a city - very friendly people. The room had a good flat TV and WiFi, a bonus was that the WiFi signal was strong enough to stay connected in the mall nearby :) Room average size for Europe, clean bathroom and good ambiance. The breakfast was nice - good choice. They had a coffer machine in a room connected with the lobby. But there was no coffee machine in the room - that is the one thing that I missed.

To sum up - good place to stay, well connected with the city through the metro. Just out side the city so it has a quite and nice setting. It is expensive but then that is true for Oslo in general.

I guess this is a typical Norwegian business hotel - everything works, but the decor is uninspiring, the bar lacks flair and ambience, and the choice of food in the restaurant is unimpressive. Execution of the choice available is just fine, but at this price it could all be done so much more inventively.

Our Scandinavian trip is ending in Oslo, and so are our money... Norway is really so expensive as they says. I complained the taxi price in Finland, but it's nothing compared to Norway. I guess the salaries here must also be in right level.

The hotel is nice, everything went well. Rooms are nice and it was easy to get transportation from the hotel.
