There is a saying that 60% of Oslo is forest, so if you haven't been to the forest, you haven't been to Oslo....so into the forest we went.
Incredible views of the Oslo fiord yet so close to the city. The tour guides were very engaging and fun. The Norwegians continue to amaze me in their love of the outdoors, nothing stops them...we see hikers of all ages and disabilities embracing and loving the trails, which were not always the easiest to navigate. If it were not for our guides, I'm sure I would have been lost. They explained how to navigate the trail signs.
Just a tip, bring a backpack and pack snacks or buy food at the stop. The food at the stop is great! Also, the tour description says "nature walk" . I would call it more of a nature "hike" as it is not a leisurely stroll.
By the time you reach the lake at the end of the tour, you will want to jump in, so be prepared.
It was definitely worth it!
