Best way to explore Oslo city is on bike. Take guided tour from Viking biking and you will not be disappointed. Our guide had told interesting facts and history of many places in from of funny stories. Must do activity in Oslo.

Hi and thank you for taking the time to write a nice review. We are always impressed with our courageous customers who take a tour in the rain, but we do our best to stop and get dry along the way so you don't end up too wet. Luckily, Oslo is not a city with lots of rain so we usually avoid wet tours.

Best regards,

As a non-european it is fantastic to see how cycling is integrated into daily life in Oslo.... so technically that makes this a cultural experience! A great way to get an overview of this compact city. People who are extremely unfit might find this tour a bit of a push, but anyone else will really enjoy it.

Hi Jo,

Thank you for the nice review and we agree that biking in the city is part of experiencing local culture. Riding on a bus, for example, is a passive way to see the sites, but biking makes you a part of the city fabric for a few hours. We definitely see eye-to-eye on this issue :-)

If you have already seen the main center (train station, Karl Johans Gata, Marina Akkerbrygge promenade) and you want to see a bit more of Oslo, get to learn about its neighbourhoods and do this in a fun active way, then this is the tour for you. The guide I had was Josh (American studying friluftsliv or outdoor life science) and he did a great job in keeping us entertained while explaining the little things about life in Oslo. Recommendable!

Hi and thank you for taking our Rivers & Waterfalls bike tour. You give a good description of the tour, as it takes you a bit off the beaten path and away from the city center. Josh loves that tour -- he has his masters degree in outdoor life science from the Norwegian Sports College and that tour allows him to show how nature and city can merge together harmoniously, a topic that is near and dear to his heart. I will pass along the message to Josh that you enjoyed the tour.

Best regards,

Seven of us had a 3 hour city tour with Emma. We saw all the highlights of the city with stops in all the places we wanted to see. We were able to visit areas while Emma watched the bikes. Her English was excellent and she knew and loved the city well.
Book in advance because many people were disappointed that their bikes were all sold out.

Thank you for the nice review and I will pass along the kind words to Emma. You give good advice to book in advance because during the peak summer season, our tours can fill up. If you are ever back in Oslo, get back in touch and please consider another biking or hiking tour with us.
