This is a terrific biking company. Very friendly and informative. The bikes are in good working order and they provide helmets and bike locks. Thanks Viking Biking!

We enjoyed Viking Biking very much. With the tour we discovered Oslo and saw it's beautiful river and sightseeing. Our guid was very nice, he showed us beauty spots and told us interesting stories of the city. Very recommended if you want to bike around Oslo, and if you want to experience less toured sides of the city.

We did the easier "River Tour," and loved every minute of it. The tour covers a nice variety of territory, and there are some very pretty views. It's not a lot of biking -- if that's what you're looking for, you might opt for one of the other tour choices instead. It worked perfectly for us as it was our first outing while in Oslo and an efficient way of being introduced to the city.

We were supposed to have a group of 5 but, as luck would have it, three people cancelled, and we were treated to a private tour with our guide, Paul. We particularly enjoyed learning from him about Norway and its culture. We've found that some tour guides share excessive information (e.g. numerous dates and historical details) as they show you various sites, and we usually end up feeling overloaded in these instances. This was not the case with Paul at all -- he shared just the right amount of detail and really gave a good flavor of what Norwegian life is like. And he did so with a great sense of humor. We were on a cruise and as such only had one day in Oslo. We will definitely return to Oslo, however, and would surely book another one of Viking Biking tours while there.

Hi Todd,

Thank you for the nice review, and I will pass the message along to our lead tour guide, Paul. How lucky to get a private tour due to some cancellations! You are right that the River Tour is easy biking, as we try to make both that tour and our Oslo Highlights tour accessible to all. If you are ever back in Oslo and looking for a tour with more challenging biking, please consider our Vikings & Beaches and Forest to Fjord tours.

Best regards,

Curtis Rojak

We had this tour with my beginner-rider friend, it is not as tough as it sounds like. Josh was a great guide. I'll definitely recommend these guys to anyone coming to Oslo.

Hi and thank you for your nice review. The 4 hour Forest to Fjord tour with Josh is an amazing one, and a relatively challenging ride so we are impressed your friend handled it no problem. Glad it all went well and you had fun!

This must be one of the best ways to see Oslo. In three hours we covered the main sights and all at a steady pace and in a safe environment. It doesn't matter what age you are, the route this takes and the fact that there is very little traffic in the city means that you can feel confident on the bicycle and have time to meander round the sights. Good bikes, safety helmets and excellent guide meant that we had time to look round the area and learn about the city's history and its culture. Plenty of opportunity to take photographs and would highly recommend using this firm as the way to see the very interesting and lovely city of Oslo.

Hi Heather,

Thank you for taking the time to write a nice review. We are always happy when customers mention how safe they felt on the ride, as we pride ourselves in good biking safety. It is great that in Oslo, much of the highway traffic is underground, making the city streets quite quiet by city standards. In any case, we appreciate your feedback and if you are back in Oslo, consider one of our other tours.

Best regards,

Curtis Rojak
