Hi Richard,
Thank you for the nice review, and I am glad you enjoyed our Forest to Fjord tour. It is quite unique since you spend more than half the time in a wilderness, all while still being within the city limits. It is a fun tour, and I know Josh loves to guide it since he lives right on the edge of the forest at the starting point of the tour. It is like he is taking you for a ride in his back yard :-)

I rented a bike for five days. I chose this company because of their location, very central. Very nice staff. I had a very interesting chat about politics for example :p Staying in Norway means spending a lot of money so the price (nearly 90€) was a relief. As I didn't stayed nearby Oslo center I could've easily spend more money on public transport/day. After 3 days I went on the cities highlights biketour. It was great. It was the assistant manager being the guide and he was brilliant. Keeping it interesting and funny. And as I told him where I stayed (it takes me 45min going uphill), I got an upgrade right away. It was the coolest thing.
Hi Evelien,
We love any review that starts with "amazing service". We really do try our best to give each customer the best service possible, even during our extremely busy summer high season. I am so happy to hear you had a positive experience with the staff here, and that you found the price to be reasonable. Thanks for the review!

I did 2 bike tours -- the city and river tours. Both were really good -- the city tour showed the key landmarks & history, while the river tour showed more natural areas and a chance to stop for food & coffee. There was only a small overlap at the beginning of the tour during the introduction. I recommend doing the city tour at the beginning of your trip to Oslo -- because then you can go back and stop at many of the sites that you will just cycle by. Take the opportunity to ask questions -- you can get good restaurant recommendations as well.
Hi and thank you for taking the time to write a review. We always like when our customers take two tours -- we make sure there is almost no overlap between the tours (just during the welcome and introduction) in order to keep each one individually interesting. Glad you enjoyed them both and a good recommendation you give to take the Oslo Highlights tour in the beginning. Thanks!

This 3 hour tour was so enjoyable. Lots of stops and information - photo ops and a coffee break. Loved it. Not strenuous- only a few very small hills. Paul our guide did a great job of introducing us to this part of Oslo.
My spouse and two young daughters (10 and 12) rented bikes without reservations from Viking Biking and had four great bikes available, all in good condition. We were able to go to various neighborhoods in Oslo at a much quicker, better over then if we had walked or taken a bus. It afforded us 4 hours of great fun and flexibility.
My youngest daughter's bike was slightly big on her, which made it somewhat tough for her on uphills, and while there are dedicated bike lanes on certain streets (get a map of official bike lanes from the main tourist office next to the main train station), I still had to keep an eye on my daughters given traffic (though light) on some streets.
The person who rented us the bikes was very helpful and positive - great, friendly service. They give you helmets and bike locks as well.
Would highly recommend this bike rental place.
Hi and thank you for your nice review of our bike rental service. I am glad to hear that we could help your family even though you did not pre-book. We have over 100 hundred bikes, but it can happen in the high season that we run out so lucky that we could get your family on bikes, thus allowing you to discover Oslo on two wheels. It is a great way to see this city!

We had a great tour with Emma, even though much of it was (as noted in our title) in the pouring rain!! We were a group of 11 (aged 11-65) and had arranged a private 4 hour tour while our ship was docked in Oslo. Communications with Curtis ahead of time were very smooth and he tailored a good trip for our group based on our interests. The company definitely couldn't help the weather and we would have been soaked, even if we had been walking. Biking was a great way to go and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again with this company in any weather.
Hi and thank you for the nice review. We try our best to control the weather by praying every day to Thor, who is the Norwegian God for many things including weather. But apparently we forgot the day you came ;-) It is nice to hear that despite the less than ideal conditions, your group still had fun with Emma. Unlucky weather but if you are every back again, let's do a tour in the sunshine!
