“A beautiful area with much to explore!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 10, 2013

The Bygdoy Peninsula is a wonderful district of Oslo with many museums close to each other, amazing views of the city (through the sea), lots of green and great outdoors where you can sit and simply enjoy. The whole area has some beautiful neighborhoods with very nice houses too. It is a great area to spend a day in Oslo! We really loved it and would definitely come back to see more! Tip: Take the ferry back to the city for views of Oslo as you go along (it drops you off in a very good central location)

“Nice place for a walk”

This is a pleasant place for a walk away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The ferry or number 30 bus will get you there.

Very nice houses surround the area, good if you like to walk. There are some museums, and I recommend the Jewish Holocaust Museum

“Wonderful area for museums!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 4, 2013

We got here using he ferry on the pier in the back of city hall, which in itself was lovely and free with the oslo pass. The peninsula houses the fram, maritime, folk, Viking ship, kon tiki, and holocost, museum. They are all great museums to visit and very easy to access. There is also a very lovely neighborhood here nearly as soon as you get off the ferry, which was lovely to walk through to see the very lovely architecture.
