Owner description: One of most delightful, romantic two-wheel rides in Oslo. Lush woods, park-like countryside, view of the sea, swimming areas, historic buildings and the royal cows are some of the sights to see along the way. Arrive from Aker Brygge via the 3-km cycle route along Frognerstranda to Hengesengveien, Bygdoy. Continue to Holsts vei - Rideveien - Huk - P.T. Mallingsvei - Langviksvei - Huk Aveny - Museumsveien - Wedels vei - Dronning Biancas vei Distance: 7 km Incline: insignificant Roadway: primarily fine gravel roads

With easy reach from Aker brygge, it is a good idea to spend one day on Bygdoy. Here you find many world class museums like Fram, Kon Tiki, Norske Folkemuseum, Viking ship museum, Holocaust museum and more. You can find places to sit down and relax, places to eat and transportation are easy.

Whilst most visitors go primarily for the Fram Polar ship musem, the area of Bygdoy itself is nice and quite and offers some nice view points looking back at Oslo and well as the infamous Huk Beach.

If you go, enjoy a leisurely stroll around

IN Bygdøy you will find Fram museum, Kon Tiki Museum and Maritime museum. All 3 are worth to see. When is not to cold there is a nice walk place right behind Maritime museum, with great view of marina and fjord
