This hotel is situated on the main shopping and tourist street in Oslo. It is also only about 100 yards from the popular harbour area of Aker Brygge. The staff on reception were friendly and helpful and the room was more than adequate (although our view was over a central courtyard full of ventilation pipe work). The breakfast was OK, but if you wanted full English the choice was very limited. However the dining room was very warm. No tea or coffee is automatically provided in the room but if you ask at reception they provide a kettle, cups and plenty packets of tea, coffee etc. Beware of the tempting basket of goodies on the dressing table! It contains a couple of bottles of wine and some nibbles and looks very much like a welcome pack! This is the mini bar. If you think Oslo is expensive you should take a look at the prices for the mini bar!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and hopefully will be back!More
