I stayed one night in this hotel ahead of a business meeting. It's very well located a few few minutes walk from the Central Station and just off the Karl Johan's Gate shopping street in the middle of Oslo. It's on a slightly run-down (by Norwegian standards anyway) looking side street with bars and kebab shops around it. My room was at the back of the hotel so I didn't notice any noise issues.

The rooms are small. It's not a business hotel as the rooms are so small you'd go stir crazy trying to get work done in there. However, compared with the average in Norway it's cheap, probably well suited to tourists on a budget as it's not bad value or uncomfortable. If you're going to spend all day out and about seeing the sights it's a cheap, clean and well run place to sleep. The buffet breakfast was really good and excellent value.

Room Tip: I can imagine rooms on the street side of the hotel could be noisy at the weekends.

This hotel is situated on a busy street with a Night Club next door. It's central, clean, fre and fast wifi, but rooms are tiny (normal in Oslo) and the noise from the club is unbearable if you're on the wrong side.

Room Tip: make sure you are nowhere near the club!

Stayed here september 2012. Clean rooms, very good breakfast buffet, cheap (we stayed there for free, but the prices are good anyway), friendly staff, free umbrellas for rent, sound isolation could be better.

Its location is brilliant. Almost right at Karl Johans gate, but in a side street so you escape the noise.
People might feel uncomfortable over the fact that there's a strip joint next door and all the african hookers walking around, but they'll leave you alone if you tell them to buzz off.

Also, the hotel could have chosen something different than glass doors for the toilets.

An unassuming entrance to this hotel. Reception staff were very helpful.
The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, room well equipped with all you would expect.
Bathrooms also very good.
This hotel is ideally placed for the railway station, being approx 500 yards away. Also, just around the corner from Karl Johannes Gate and the shopping there.
I didn't take the breakfast, so can not comment on that here..
Overall very good for a budget hotel.

The room was small but clean and quiet. The breakfast was very big and had everything. Good value for the money!
Located very central almost at the station and you have the biggest shopping street just around the corner. The area can be a little bit ruff late at night
