We just stood on the edge of a dock and watched the boats on the lovely spring morning! We ended up walking up the Oslo fort and got a fantastic view!! Really recommend it, I believe there is a big shopping mall to one side and the park behind it is really green!

We took the Batservice 2 hour tour to the Oslo Fjord. The boat provided a covered seated area and also an opened area at the back of the boat. The commentary provided was quite humorous and informative. If you are expecting steep mountainsides - then you will be disappointed as it is still quite flat. Interesting bath-houses, summer houses and traditional lodges were seen - not much wildlife spotted as it was April. It was a pleasant 2 hr boat ride which afforded views of Oslo from the water and interesting island lodgings. Perhaps it would have been more interesting later in spring or summer.

The two hour sightseeing boat cruise of the Oslo fjords departing from the harbor across from City Hall was definitely the highlight of my trip! Beautiful view of the summer homes along the fjords, as well as incredible views of the city. No trip to Norway would be complete without experiencing the fjords, and this two hour cruise is the perfect way to do that. Don't miss this while in Oslo

I took a boat over to Bygdoy Peninsula (included in the 72 Hour Oslopass) and despite the cold thoroughly enjoyed sailing between the Islands.
