Take a boat to the island: Line 92 or 93 operates all year from Vippetangen to Hovedøya, Lindøya vest, Nakholmen, Bleikøya, Gressholmen.
The best view is during sunset.
Boat cost for adult 30 NOK one way.
With Oslo Pass it is free.
You can purchase hot tea/coffee on the boat for 10 NOK.
Upper deck ideal for photo session.

We took an all you can eat shrimp dinner cruise in the fjord. The scenery was jaw-dropping. The shrimp was great, too. I think the next time, we'll do the jazz or blues cruise. However you do it, the Oslo Fjord is a gorgeous must-see.

We took a 3 hour cruise around the Oslo Fjord, booked on the waterfront when we arrived. The price was OK when you consider how expensive everything is in Oslo. We had lovely weather and the views were great, both of the city and the surrounding islands and summer residences. Would highly recommend it as opposed to the small and expensive museums.

Yeah, guys. This water is impressive. Also, there are boats/ferries leaving from Oslofjord every 30 mins. If you have Oslo Pass, they are free, so use it to swim to other isles and visit them a bit. There are ferries every 30 mins from these isles too, so don't worry about being stuck on the island. Well, maybe just check the timetable to make sure it will be okay. But gotta say that the view of Oslo from Hovedstaden island in the night is really, really nice.
Also, walk around the Oslofjord! There are many boats to see :)

The scenery is simply breathtaking. I would recommend going to the Fjord in the summer. That's because only the summer there is a ferry that runs from Olso to Drobak. The ferry ride is not expensive at all. But the view from the upper deck of the ferry let you enjoyed the view of the beauty of the Fjord and breath one of the cleanest air on the planet.

Drobak has an all year round X'mas shop and a post office which stamps your postcard with a special X'mas stamp !
