We came here early / around 8:30 on a Saturday night - before Norwegians come out in earnest - and had a nice beer. We each sampled brews made in-house by the brew pub and they were pretty good. The venue is nice - it's long leather communal tables in the basement of a very old building. The entrance is actually in a square - not exactly on the street - so it can be a little tricky to find. The bartender was extraordinarily nice and service oriented. Definitely would recommend.

This place is an absolute must to visit during even a weekend break in Oslo. Probably the best bar location ever been. Definitely worth the find, a open cellar space with a open fire for toasting Marshmellows on, great craft and guest beers. Super friendly staff and reasonably prices ~ 100 % recommend!!!

Recently spent two nights in Oslo on rail tour. Found time to visit this gem of a brewery twice. Terrific selection of local beers and if you are a real ale enthusiast you have to try some here (try a "flight"of four beers to find one or more you will like) Wonderful cellar bar with roaring open fire, helpful staff all speaking very good English and a selection of bar snacks.

This is a nice bar. Here you will find several types of craft beer brewed in house. I like the concept and the setup. It is like a small beer hall with white caulk walls and long tables. Sit down with your friends or just join someone you don't know and maybe you become friends after a couple of hearty pints. Price is not to bad, even though alcohol prices are high in Norway so to u just have to expect it. Better to get a craft beer made with passion than mass produced beer which you can find everywhere else.

Check it out while in town. You won't leave unhappy I promise.
