When you arrive it is a bit weird to find the reception being at the 3rd floor and the automatic door not opening on the street.
We got room 401. Very good first impression. very handy with the kitchen and fridge. The double bed is small, the sofa is wide and there is additional sitting space provided. Bathroom also tidy, clean and a great shower. the door of the bathroom scraped over the floor which made it impossible to close.

Around eleven the club at the rooftop closeby started with the music and even with the windows closed it was hard to sleep. We got the impression as well that there were more trams passing by at nighttime than during the day.

Breakfast is included but due to the lack of sleep during the night we slept in a bit and missed it.

Room Tip: If you go out at night this hotel could be great, if you need your sleep best to go somewhere more q...

The room was clean, though quite small. The location is convenient to go to most places in Oslo. The place seemed fairly empty with the lights off in most of the hallways. Nothing special, but decent enough.

We stayed for 3 nights. Basic kitchen equipment. Small bed (not even a double). Nice decor. Breakfast is served in a small room, and was good - scrambled eggs, fresh bread, meat, cheese, jam, orange juice and coffee. No telephones in the room -reception told us it was because people were stealing them. Odd. The club a few doors down was EXTREMELY loud, although it didn't bother my husband, I was kept awake even with ear plugs. Otherwise, it is an easy walk from the train station and the harbour.

This was a great find in busy, beautiful, expensive Oslo.

Kind of an appartment of your own in the city.

I stayed 3 nights and found it excellent.

Quiet, beautifully furnished room with a very well appointed kitchen area and a superb shower room.

Extremely comfortable, very modern looking and really with everything you could possibly need including wifi.

There is no restaurant but they bring 'ingredients' round in the morning for you to make up a great contnental breakfast in your own kitchen ...and there are so many lovely restaurants in the nearby area (including a great Thai one street over) and in easy walking distance of all the shops, the main city centre, the palace, the museums and the waterfront and castle...

a real find.
Would definately go back there.

Room Tip: book a high up room and enjoy Oslo ... a fab hotel

Very central and spotlessly clean. The appartments are fitted with Villeroy and Bosch sinks and other good quality appliances. The beds are very narrow, but the helpful staff are aware of this and the German owners are going to do something about it. Our children slept on the slighly hard sofa bed, but with an extra duvet underneath, it was fine and larger than our bed.
Breakfast is included and brought to your room, but you need to order it each day. (three slices of bread, jam, pate/cheese, an apple and a yoghurt - bread is fresher if you have it early, as they probably make them up early but don't cover the bread!).
The ONLY problem was the noise from the Source Club, a night club about 4 doors away. We asked for a quiet room at the rear (the rooms are larger at the front) but unfortunately I could still hear the thump from the bass from about 11pm until gone 3am each morning. I'm a light sleeper though, and my husband slept through it on 2 nights and the children didn't notice it at all.
There is on-street parking a couple of roads away. Check with the staff what hours this applies to. Parking is free on Sundays and up until 8am on Monday morning.
