I can't believe this hotel has received a Traveller's Choice 2012 Award. My customer has a contract going with Radisson Plaza and this s reason me and my team stay here but in all honesty it's a tired place with the same issues over and over again. The hotel rooms are not clean, room rates are sky high, service is non existent and the restaurant upstairs is the worst I've seen in the Nordic countries. I would not come back here if it wouldn't be mandatory due to our agreements to stay in this hotel.

To find something positive I will say definitely location and views if you get a room in the top floors.

Room Tip: Rooms from 25th floor onwards have really nice views

Very convenient hotel for Oslo centre, right next to the main train station and five minutes cab ride from the port. Friendly and efficient reception service, room on the whole was good - quiet, fairly spacious and with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was similarly roomy with a powerful shower. The cocktail bar was packed, so I ended up having a glass of wine in the lobby bar area which is huge, quiet and a little soulless. Breakfast was ok - no more than that. Coffee was poor, no pastries apart from plain croissants with a limited selection of fresh fruit. For a business stop over it's a good hotel - not sure I would select it if I was travelling for leisure unless it was a one night stop only.

Very good hotel - great view of Oslo, good location, good service and great rooms.

Areas to improve:
a. The gym had a great location (top floor of hotel) could have been fitted better.. no weight equipment, only 2 treadmills,
b. I was disappointed with the food in room service.. very average quality of food

Room Tip: I stayed on a higher floor - recommended

An average stay for luxary price. Reception sevice friendly but room is outdated and small, Poor equipement provided for iron and ironing board though they have a good coffee machine.

The breakfast room was massive with no personality - no one to assisit you to find a free table making you walk around looking for a free table, and most likely to end up on table with other guests. No distance or private space between tables either. Over all a disappointing stay.

The hotel is the biggest in Norway, close to the central station/airport train, has great rooms, great breakfast, great bar at the top floor, altogether a great hotel.

The only issue is that you are on "the wrong side" of Karl Johans gate, but if you don't mind walking a few extra minutes to get to Aker Brygge etc. it a good location.

A favorite of mine having stayed here a few times. The rooms are comfortable, wireless is good, dining options are varied and of good quality. This is just a no hassle hotel. The check-in and check-out are quick and efficient, which is a real blessing after a long flight. Close to the train stations and about 40 minutes by taxi to the airport. A great business hotel, I have nothing negative to say about the Blu.

The hotel is right outside Central station, 7-10 mins walking from city center but hotel is still getting refurbished. No complaints though. Had a big spacious buffet breakfast served every morning. the city views from higher floors are very good.

Room Tip: rooms on higher floors have a good view
