This was a great, little museum. Loved the exhibits, learned so much. Was not boring even my teen age kids really enjoyed it.

I am always interested in WW II things. The set up looked interesting - Norwegian resistance. Unfortunately the exhibition was confusing and far too detailed. You didn't know where to start and where to finish. Avoid.

Excellent museum detailing the history under the Nazis and resistance movement. Full of interesting details and exhibits. Particularly interesting was the bit on the heavy water plant especially if you've watched The Heroes of Telemark!! Not far from the dock by City Hall, maybe 8 -10 mins walk and well worth it.

Located in the beautiful castle grounds this museum tells the story of Norway during the last war. The collaborators, the resistance, the lives of those who fought to support the war effort from a occupied land.
The character of the people came shining through and the displays presented in a way that kept attention throughout
I really suggest anyone who ever wondered what happened in Norway during the las war should visit and recognise the courage and ingenuity of a valiant nation.

The museum is located in very nice surroundings with lovely view of the harbour and town. This peaceful background is in so different from the story told in the museum - the story of Norway under Nazi occupation and the heroic struggle of the Norwegian underground.
A temporary exhibition about the role of Norwegian Jews in this struggle I found to be highly intersting.
The museum is small but great in design and content.
