The museum obviously had a lot of information to convey but the flow was very off-putting, especially for English speakers (not that we expected it to be tailored to us) Check it out if you have the Oslo pass but only after visiting the Fram and Kon-Tiki, as it is then free. We wouldn't recommend it otherwise.
The coolest parts of the museum were the beanbag room where you're surrounded by floor to ceiling projections of ocean microbes under a microscope and the "Maritime technology today" exhibit, hidden in the back top corner.
