Very good and interesting to see authentic Viking ships although they are partially restored of course. They are also extremely large!

If you have any interest in Vikings or Scandinavian history, this is the place to go. The Viking ships and artifacts excavated from burial mounds are the most famous and best preserved of any in the world, according to our daughter who is studying Vikings at university. Everything you'll see is fascinating.

The Viking Ship Museum is very unique. Sheds light into there history and is an awesome place to visit, the hop on and hop of bus goes past here every 30 minutes. Museum is open from 9am - 5pm May - September and 10am - 4 pm October - April.
There is an entrance fee to this museum. Although you can get a 48 deal if you visit the history museum as well. Great place for souvenirs especially for boys they think their awesome.
