This is a great place to learn about the history of the vikings. There are 3 vikingships in addition to other artifacts you can look at and you really get a feel for how they lived.

“Only need a short time here”
Reviewed March 20, 2013

Learnt a lot at this museum about viking burial practises. Just 3 main boats on show. Brilliant to see them up close. Only need about half an hour to see everything. Don't miss it if you were fascinated by Vikings at school.

Absolutely have to see this kind of place. The day I went, there were only a handful of people there. The ships are just incredible!

“A little out of the way but worth the trip”
Reviewed March 18, 2013

The museum is small but very fascinating. The work that has gone into restoring the three Viking ships and the items found on board is simply amazing. Well worth the visit, especially if combined with the Folkenmuseum.
