Not your standard sculpture park. The talent , details and size of the statues is well worth the trip (short distance on local tram).

In this park you will see you. Scenes of your life sculpted. If you do not identify yourself in at least one of the sculptures, you are not human. If are not touched by many of them, you are heartless. Or your heart is made of stone. It is you in stone.

Even if you aren't an art buff you will love Vigeland's sculpture particularly if you know a bit about his life..

As a child I lived in Oslo and frequently went to nearby Frogner Park. I always remembered the statue of the famous skater. A delightful day spent walking around the beautiful grounds and basing in the sun.

This park is wonderful to walk around. The sculptures are fascinating and so ornate. They vary from being miniscule to massive in size and are just captivating. The expressions and emotions of the sculptures are wonderful to experience. This park is very easy to access from the city, we arrived by tram. It is well worth this visit.
