It looks more impressive in the photos than it is personally. But it is a cool spot to take pictures, on the steep terrace. It is also quite a work out to go above it. You should try! Take a sneak peak inside to see how the opera looks like. Very windy.

Fun place to walk up to, get a look of the Harbour and the barcode and watch the sunset. The architecture is beautiful. One of the nicest places in Oslo

Worth a visit if you are in Oslo. They do have good opera shows if that is your thing. The building is amazing. Take a trip up to the roof to see a magnificent view of Oslo.

How can one miss walking on this roof? What a view! Totally entertaining.

The lobby is interesting, but understated. Unfortunately, for a tourism visit, there is no opportunity to inspect the concert space

Do walk to the back and Harborside parts of the building. The costuming, wig making, makeup and other support staff functions are at street level. A grand way to see the people at work in preparing for the opera.

Worth a stop even if you do not see a show. Go inside and see the wood paneling, also walk on the roof great 360 views of Oslo. Consider this a must stop.
