This Opera House completed in 2008 has a beautiful location next to the sea. The white exterior appears to rise from the water. You can climb on its roof and enjoy the panoramic views of Oslo and the fjord.

It rises from the Oslo fjord. Even the main stage is under the water. White building made of Carrara marble and glass. Inside there are really fine wooden structures. World class architecture. Also very interesting guided tours available. The restaurant-café is also recommeded.

After a nice little climb (be careful to watch your step), the views of the city are wonderful. The building is unique in its design as it looks like a glacier. Must do when in Oslo.
