We walked in on a cold evening to get some warmth. The building itself attracts attention from the outside near the waterfront. Very impressive and many like us was enticed to walk in. It was equally impressive from the inside as well. The cloakroom was avant garde and most interesting. White spacious spaces all around. Unfortunately we weren't able to join the tour as it was closed for the day. Those who loved opera and orchestra would be thrilled to join the tour and see it from the inside.

This is defiantly one of the big musts when in Oslo. Stunning architecture, outside walk on (Italian) white marble and in side see the fabulous interior - and if possible, try to also get hold of tickets for an opera or ballet (all played in original language and texted in English (and Norwegian)

Beatiful views aroung museum. Not really visited inside, because of limited time. Behind windows anyway looks very interesting place.

Brilliant spectacle and lovely view. The interior is beautiful too and the food and drink is just amazing, slightly pricey but it is an opera house so you get what you expect.
