We went to see Madame Butterfly. It's always fun to come to the Opera-building in Oslo. The architecture is very beautiful and worth a closer look! Haven't eaten at the restaurant - it's not all that appealing as it is placed sort of in the middle of the 1st floor where all the Opera guests hang out between acts. The place is nevertheless worth a visit and a glass of wine!

Beautiful architecture. Didn’t go inside but walked around and viewed the outside. Very beautiful and nice to see. Also located in the water was wood burning saunas.

I did not go to an Opera show but had a few hours to walk around town.
The opera house is an impressive piece of architecture just on the shore line.
What makes it very unique is the fact that it’s massive roof is accessible to the public

Very innovative building, where you can walk up the sides and on the roof. I was there in winter but i heard it's the place to be in summer. Went to a ballet in the auditorium which has great sound and stage and a sleek wooden interior. Very cool building, worth a look
