Bølgen & Moi Briskeby has a great location, quietly situated close to the Frognerpark. The building is a former fire station and hence has a high ceiling and is pretty grand. They also have a good terrace, especially when the sun is shining.
I had a Ceasar's salad for 169,- Norwegian kroners (ca. 28 USD), which as such is overpriced, but considering the sun and my hunger I accepted it. Unfortunately the salad was wilted. When mentioning this to the waiter she replied: "Oh! I know who cut it. He has only worked here for two days.". She laughed and then left the table.
Beer is not served in 0,5 l glasses, but in 0,3 l in glasses that look far bigger than its content. These are also VERY overpriced. The burger my friend had was overcooked, and the bacon way passed "well done". Sorry, but this is far from well done by Bølgen & Moi.
