We ducked in here on a Saturday without a reservation - and were lucky to get a table. The food was great- we shared tartare, and I had the duck while my husband had the chicken with mushrooms in a Reisling sauce. The tartare was fresh and flavorful, while our entrees were perfectly cooked with no shortage of butter. The wine list, while definitely on the spendy side, is worth it. The service was attentive without hovering, and the atmosphere is very cozy. All in all, a very charming evening.
