At every visit at Saga Hotel I always leave again with a nice feeling.
Nice rooms, Clean, not always bit rooms but okay, good internet, good breakfastbuffet.
Just a nice place to be.
And then there is Restaurant Fangst, a fairytail of its own.
They always surprise me with a fantastic meal and never the same even that I come 4 to 5 times a year. And the staff is super.

We only stayed here for a night on Oslo's national day. The city was crowded, the streets were crammed, and the Saga Hotel was ready to welcome us with open arms. We lucked into a parking spot in their incredibly small parking lot, and otherwise enjoyed the staff and the amenities here. Caroline at the front desk was great, called a cab when we needed one, and answered all of our questions about the city!
My wife and I spent a long weekend at the splendid hotel and throughly enjoyed it.
The staff were just amongst the most friendly we have ever met, the room was very comfortable, good shower and an excellent buffet breakfast.
Tram stop within 3 min walk and I really couldn’t fault it.
Service: excellent, reception staff very friendly and helpful
Room: we stayed in room 314 - no view but very clean, comfortable bed and quiet.
Location & amenities: great location, restaurants and microbrewery only 5 minute walk away, close to all major sights, we walked to the hotel on our first day but used trams and buses for the rest of the stay - no journey longer than 15 minutes to get to main attractions
Would happily stay here again when visiting Oslo.

Free parking if available (normally it is when people check-out), otherwise 24h=~160NOK. Breakfast was changing daily so not getting bored. Rooms really clean, daily towels (might be because of superior option), great sound isolation. Top floor rooms where of a loft type so not the best option for longer stay unless you like to walk in the room a bit twisted, but they are larger in space I guess. Overall, this hotel gets the highest score in comparison to other Scandinavian hotels that we have been to. Should be shown as an example for other hotels!
