“Great Pub!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 27, 2014

A bit pricey like all things in Nordic, but the MACK beer is exceptional tasty! Sometime you just have to try it and budget elsewhere. Instead of chips, I had my beer with dried fish jerky. A little weird, but keeping it local. This was a neat snack. Friendly bartender, very nordic feel, giant polar bear on display, lots of pictures to see and fun place for both tourist and local hang out joint.

“The best Norwegian beer!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 20, 2014

They claim to be the northernmost brewery in the world, which is easily true. They have nice entourage inside highlighting this fact, like the dummy of polar beer, but that's not the most important - the beer is really good! I'm not of especially high opinion about Norwegian beer, but this one is an exception. But beware - the place doesn't work on Sundays!

“Didn't eat, but good beer”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 9, 2014

We didn't eat, but there is a great choice of local beer available from ales to lagers and all in between.
There are also spirits for those who don't like beer.
Great history and atmosphere.

“fun place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 19, 2013

Tromsö is a the gateway to the arctic, and yes, it does feel remote. You also have to be able to ignore the beer prices to enjoy your pint. If you can do that this is a good place to go.
