Spent several hours here enjoying the display of rocks - all labeled, and then a little walk down to the gardens. The flowers were lovely & beautifully displayed. It is very obviously a place where the caretakers love their work & are committed to it.
A short bus ride from Tromso - hope you don't miss it!

An arctic botanical garden that would obviously be much more colorful later in the year. Still very very impressive and a clear work of love by those taking care of it.

Flowers growing in the Arctic that I didn't expect. A lovely rockery, with water feature and pond, with a little wooden bridge over it. Very pretty and quaint, free of charge, and should be respected by tourists as you could see local workers working very hard to maintain this little escape from the beautiful but busy city of Tromso!
