I initially was not keen to visit this museum because of the history of trapping which seemed to be one of the main features, and I actually found the accounts of a local man who had killed hundreds of polar bears rather disgusting. Nevertheless the history of polar exploration and the material on Nansen and Amundsen was extremely interesting and worth seeing. There was a lot overall to see in this museum.
