I'm so glad I booked dog sledding with this company. They were so lovely and this tour was the best thing I did in Tromso:
Small groups so you feel well taken care of
Per-Thore and Hege are so lovely and have this tour down to an art form.
Th dogs are gorgeous, well looked after and just love to run
The chocolate cake is awesome
It's amazingly fun and easy to operate

You don't go as fast as I hoped, but I think a lot of that has to do with who is in front of you. The couple in front of us didn't really grasp it so maybe that slowed us down a bit.

I cannot wait to return and do this again. We went for the morning sledding but I imagine it's just as fun in the evening too.

We booked dogsledding on a whim and had a great time. The dogs look happy and well treated and the path traverses interesting scenery with lovely snowy hills and snow-covered trees. It's a novel and memorable experience with a hint of adrenaline as you take turns down a hill at a slightly-too-fast speed. :) The couple who run this outfit are well organised, professional and friendly. The tea and cake by the fire after an hour of sledding was a pleasant touch.

I should note that this is probably not a tour to do if northern lights are your priority. Another downside to note is that transfers are to the Rica rather than your hotel, which was a pain as we were are the Sydspissen.

If you're in Tromso and you've already seen the lights, do this.

Definitely deserves it's near perfect spread of 5 star ratings.
After driving for 45 minutes from Tromsø, we arrived to the sound of excited barking. Boy, we're those dogs happy to see us, and were raring to go! After putting on our warm suits and snow boots and a quick demonstration, we embarked on our trip. Everything was perfect! Great views, awesome feelings driving the team of dogs, picturesque views. Our guide was fantastic, checking in periodically to see that everything was going well and making sure we were having the best time possible.
To top it all off, tea and coffee was served afterwards in a warm hut with a roaring fire, along with the most delicious homemade chocolate cake!
A memorable experience by a friendly, experienced and knowledgable staff who know how to provide a top class dog sledding excursion! Would definitely recommend to others, 5 stars!

We chose this trip based on the reviews, and were not disappointed! Talk about an adrenaline rush! With a few short instructions, we were off out into a dark afternoon in blinding snow, driving our own dog sled! Per-Thore our guide checked in with us all regularly over the outing, to ensure we were all doing ok - and we were having the time of our lives! The dogs all know their jobs, and were tolerant of us as we learned ours! One back safely at base, we were welcomed into a lovely hut with a roaring fire, cups of tea, and the most delicious Chocolate cake to top it all off! Definitely a highly recommended activity with Hege and Per.

We went out this afternoon in what to me seemed a blizzard ( that is to a non-Norwegian, from the UK where a little snow stops everything)... It was amazing fun, the weather added to the experience even more - a real little adventure with lovely hosts, friendly dogs (and yummy chocolate cake).

Highly recommend this family run business - they even gave us all a lift to the airport!

We are so glad you had a brilliant trip! The weather that was day was quite snowy, but as you saw, the dogs absolutely love it anyway! Well done!!
