We were in the mood for something casual and this fit the bill. At first we were confused about the ordering process, primarily because they seat you and bring you a menu which made us think it was a full service restaurant. Instead, you order at the cash register, and they call your number when your food is ready (not complicated at all). Everything is prepared at the same time, so if you want an appetizer before your main course you should place two separate orders 15 minutes apart from each other. We had pizza, and I must say it was really good – thin crust, crunchy at the edges, with fresh and plentiful toppings (of course I like anything with arugula, but they did have some standard pizzas too). We spent the equivalent of $80 for two people, including two beers and an appetizer, so it was pricey by US standards but somewhat reasonable by Norwegian standards.

In the town centre. The restaurant is large and a bit noisy.
The food is average. Pasta and pizza. Lots of young people. Good for a quick pasta, but I would not like to sit here a long evening. I have been here a couple of times, but I am not very impressed by the food.

Pastafabrikken has lost its charm. The waiter was rude, it was obvisously too much to offer us a smile. They have started to take extra money for ruccola and parmesan - chould be included in the prices as earlier. The pastas and pizza we ordere were sad. Hardly any filling on the pizza, and the pasta was just bolied cheap dried pasta, with a couple of broccolibpieces and some underdone salsiccia on the side. What used to be a place with safe, good food at reasonable prices with smilind waiters, is now just sad. Will not go there again if they don´t change things back to the better.

Nice place to have a pasta or pizza. Do not expect a luxury restaurant but a place where there is enough place and space to have a nice lunch or dinner.

We were with a large group, had no reservation, all restaurants were booked and we were hungry and ended up in the Pastafabrikken. Looked like a italian food MacDonalds style restaurant. But it was not bad at all. Nice selections of pasta's, pizza's and wine. Did not have a bad meal.
