We went here with high expectations having read other reviews. Sadly although the food was quite good and the restaurant was tastefully decorated, is was really not that special. I started with a lobster that, on enquiry had been imported from Canada. Very small. Served with ill-fitting sweet mayonnaise and pesto. Just two mouthfuls. The following main course of turbot was well cooked and served with an assortment of vegetables but nothing that special. Again, the portion was small as were the portion of scallops my wife had. They certainly were just seered to perfection. However, had I not filled myself up with bread I would have left hungry. We had a bottle of their cheapest Riesling which at 445 NOK seemed excessive. Service was just about ok. Certainly friendly and helpful but also excessively slow with excessively long gaps between courses. The bill for two of us came to 1645 NOK (or £ 182 or 209 Euros). Not good value for money - even my expensive Norwegian standards.
