We dined at the Tind restaurant as were staying at the Rica Hotel and had read reviews that it was good. It far exceeded our expectations. The restaurant was ambient and dimly lit, so you could better enjoy the twinkling lights of the city through the giant glass windows. My partner and I both ordered the beef sirloin as recommend by the waitress. It was beautiful, the meat tender and the fløtepoteter were delicious. We ordered the white chocolate mousse for dessert to share and found this MORE than enough food. We paid just over 800NOK including 2 drinks and were quite satisfied. Although it was on the expensive side to me (being Australian) by Norwegian standards we thought it was good value. I must also add that the service was impeccable, we had the same waitress (a young spanish woman) the entire evening and she was wonderful, which was a bonus because customer service is somewhat lacking in Norway generally. We would most definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in Narvik and would not hesitate to go again ourselves.
