The rooms are ok and also the location but an experience with miss Bosch puts the rating down. When i asked her to refill the soapdispencer in the bathroom, she came into the room and was shocked to see that the tv was on altough i wasn't watching at that moment, then she complaned that the light in the bathroom was on. She treated me like a child and as if i was staying there for free instead as a paying costumer and it isnt that cheap. I never heard of such a thing and as a tourist you stay only a short while in a hotelroom anyway so....
In the morning you could also hear het screaming at the help.

When I entered our room, I felt like I went back in time, in my childhood years visiting my parents' German friends.
The pension has classic Austrian furniture, it is clean and has huge rooms. Frau Bosch is the nicest lady possible. You get your own keys form all the doors.
Unfortunatelly, it was not very warm at one night, but the problem was quickly remediated.
Wonderful breakfast, quality products selection, the expensive ones.
The price was a little bit high because of the season (the New Year Eve), but Vienna is an expensive destination after all.

This is a wonderful budget hotel in a good Vienna location. It's an easy walk to the Botanical Garden at Belvedere Palace and a 5-minute tram ride to the Ringstrasse. The owner was so helpful -- she obtained weekend passes for the public transpo for us, gave us a map marked with important sights, was patient with my beginning German and served delightful Viennese breakfasts. The only things I regretted not having were a hot plate in the room on which to make tea and a bathtub to warm up after walking in the cold air. But for the price, it is an excellent value.

We found Pension Bosch quite by accident for our four nigths stay in beautiful Vienna. Luckily, we did not make a wrong choice! The hotel is situated on a strategic place, very close to the center and quite near to the most important sightseengs. It enabled us to cover the distances on foot and thus seeng much more sightseengs which were situated a little apart from the main touristic routes. The quarter where the pension is situated was very quiet and safe. Rooms were furnished with old Viennese furniture and gave us a specific impression of local comfort. Everything was quite clean and we were glad to have this place for relatively cheap price (Euro 79 per night). Breakfast was really rich and was enough to energize us for a hard walk until late afternoon. I would recommend this pension for people who have dedicated their stay in Vienna to sightseeng and interesting places research.

This hotel was a great value, as it was in a good location, clean, and comfortable. It is close to both the subway and the tram, making it easy to get around because of Vienna's great public transportation system.

The owner of the hotel was nice and very informative. She suggested some good places to eat and gave us a detailed map about the city.

Breakfast was very good and included meats, pastries, boiled eggs, and jam.

The rooms had no a/c but they were comfortable and clean, with new towels each day. The shower was nice and there was hot water.

The price was good at around 82 euros/night for 3 people.

Chose this Hotel on the basis of a Rough Guide review, and it did not disappoint. The location is good, 3 tram stops from the city centre, and a couple of minutes walk from the Belvedere palace. The staff are friendly, and speak fairly good English.
The room we had was large, a little care-worn but clean, and very warm and cosy. It is furnished in the traditional heavy wooden style, so don't expect Euro-funk decor! Breakfast was the traditional European simple buffet, but there was also a small range of cereals. The ensuite bathroom was small but clean. Overall, good value for money.

If you are superstitious (Keilgasse 13) or if you want a hotel room like you’ve seen dozens everywhere else in the world: don’t go there.

But if you like an old building with a "vienna" heart, with wooden floors, a spacious and tidy room with some authentic furniture, a good breakfast: try it! It is situated in a very quiet neighbourhood (we slept with the window open!) nearby the university botanical garden and the magnificent Belvedere palace. We had breakfast in a nicely decorated kind of living room and it was OK. We got some good personal advice where to eat from mother and daughter Bosch. In our opinion a good price for what you get! We found it directly on the internet.
