Of note, I never write reviews; this one deserves it.
We were on a business trip in Vienna and I heard of this restaurant and that it is very hard to get a table because it's so popular.
I lucked out and a small group of us got the privilege of sitting a the table in the kitchen. What a treat. We had the 6 course menu with wine pairing and everything was perfect; from the bold taste pairings to the wine pairings to the presentation it was great. The service was friendly, attentive, accommodating.
We then got a visit of the otherworldly wine cellars where we saw bottles we had only read about and as we were heading out, the chef called us back for a surprise second desert -- the kitchen had closed but they re-opened it for that.
I would recommend this without hesitation.
