For many years now, Caffe Latte has been a strange beast – excellent coffee and drinks, variable food and comically bad service (over the past ten years the average wait to get a drink has been around half an hour). The last time we went, on a quiet Sunday evening, the service was fine with well-made cocktails, which are at a special happy-hour price all day on Sundays.
The burger for EUR 12 was tasty and came with good chips, but the piadina was dry and uninspiring. This is a great place to have breakfast, as everything is fresh and high quality, but I am not as enamoured with the brunch as the other reviewers. Huge variations in the taste of the dishes, empty platters not topped up for ages and very long waits for any drinks or coffee, as the place is so full.
The garden outside is fine and the (smoking) bar area has a good atmosphere. All in all, a good place for cocktails (esp. during happy hour), or to meet for a coffee.
