When I was living in Vienna for many years, I regularly visit this wonderful Thai restaurant. Pinong is an authentic Thai restaurant in the 7th District, near to Neubaugasse, located at Seidengasse. Pinong is owned & run by a Thai family - hence the dishes are authentically Thai. In their extensive menu, the spicy dishes are labelled with the number of chillis to denote the level of spicyness or hotness. One chilli means spicy and 3 chillis (max.) means very spicy. However, the prices tend to be on the high side for the small portions served.
Opening hours: Mondays- Saturdays from 18.00 - 24.00 hrs; Sundays closed
Favorite Dish: My favorite is the Phad Thai Gung (fried rice noodles with prawns, eggs and peanuts) followed by Thai Fish Cake, Fish with spicy sauce, Tom Yam Gung (spicy seafood soup), Tom Kha Gai (chicken coconut soup with galangal), Chicken Green Curry and Beef Red Curry. There are other delicious food too; you will just have to go and try them.
