This is a great little hotel due to its position a few meters from the Prater park and transport hub Praterstern ideal place to stay, whether in pairs or as a family.
We were in it with my wife for the third time, the first time back in 2011 and I must say, better amenities, service, staff and the price I didnít found anywhere else.
Beautiful room, great bed, beautiful bathroom, helpful staff, wifi with a strong signal and free in-room, perfect breakfast with a huge supply of sweet, salty, pastries, cakes, yoghurt, muesli, professional coffee, tasty juices, milk, sausages, cheeses, ham, scrambled eggs, sausages, one should choose a problem :)
In Vienna, we have tried a lot of room, but in the future definitely only this hotel ...
Is our maximum recommendation, and you try, I believe you will like!

Fairly well located for transport (tram/metro). Stayed early July and my room had no aircon, not sure if that is true for all rooms, but not a problem as at the back of the hotel. Not sure I would have wanted a room at the sunny front. Breakfast ok and staff friendly. Reasonable mid-range hotel. Would consider staying again.

The hotel had good rooms but no air conditioners in the rooms and in the hotel. Vienna reached temperatures in 40s and 30s Celsius recently so it was quite hot in the rooms. But the rooms were big and great. You'd get a big bathroom, too. Like Vienna itself which is so structured from the sky (from the plane's windows) and like Vienna museums which are so structured, the inside the hotel was structured. Everything was in good order. And there were so many classic paintings on the wall on every floor and on the stairs. The hotel was clean. I've been to 12 countries in Europe that includes all northern Europe including Iceland, and 95% of western European countries, and Austrian people were the poorest English speakers and sometimes when you go to a restaurant they "become" rude to you not because they don't like you but because that's what people become when they find difficulties with English (which is understandable).

Once you shut down the windows in the rooms, the rooms would be quiet. You get minibar, laundry service, big 50 inches plasma television with many channels on it, you get a huge attractive lamp above the bed.

Breakfast included. The hotel as seen from the soap boxes in the room is a 4 star hotel and is quite affordable. Things are quite affordable in Vienna compared to cities like Zurich, Oslo, etc. Vienna is a great city with old churches and many museums in it and the museums were all big, very well structured, and complete in collection and most of them were old buildings. The hotel is 3 stations from the city center where the Cathedral is and also where the major shopping centers like Cloppenberg clothing shop (4-5 floors of clothes brands for men, women and kids). With the museums, you can walk to them from the main station (stephanplatz) but it might take 30 mins but hey you are a tourist! you'd love to see walk past the streets and see the locals and what's happening around. Alternatively you can use the station to go to museumquartier station which where most museums are located at which is 2 stations from stepahnplatz. You can also walk to the opera house from the stephanplatz station for about 10 mins. The cathedral is located next to stephanplatz.

Now to go to the hotel from the airport,
Use S7 and stop at Praterstern station which is about 5 mins walk to the hotel. Remember to bring a complete MAP from google map and make sure it includes streets around the station vast enough so you won't get lost. Remember, most Austrians do not want or do not speak English well. You would need it as I did! :) you have been told :)

To go to the city: Use U1 line (read on the screens at the station where U1 is). Like any other train line in any other country, there are 2 directions of U1: One goes to the city and one goes back which you need it to go back to the hotel). I am not gonna tell you more about this. You gotta have a train station maps with you and read it. It's only 3 station from the city and vice versa.

Now, Praterstern, supposedly an inner suburb (because it is only 3 stations from stephanplatz) is not a very nice suburb. When I arrived there, I thought I was in Eastern Europe shown by the scenes in EuroTrip movie because of what I saw :). But I loved it! :) Now if you visit the local cafes and restaurants around the hotel, they are quite cheap compared to the rest of west and north Europe. There are 3 supermarkets around, two of them are located next to the cafes leading the way to the hotel and one of them is at the station.

Austrians themselves, from my experience (others might have different experience) tend to be a little patriotic so for example you might get unwanted responses if you eat at non-austrian meals restaurants. Even if you keep speaking English to them at shops, restaurants, etc, they don't like it (again, I think it is because their English is poor).

Most of the hotel's guests were German speaking people.

Would rate this hotel 5 stars overall and 5 dots for value if it had air conditioners because austria isn't a very cold country and can get uncomfortably very hot in the summer.

Nice hotel, great breakfast! Seems to cater to English speaking people, although it is not exclusively English speaking. Great location for subway and shopping. Our room had a small "balcony" (fire escape?) which came in handy to dry clothes we hand washed, after traveling. Was nice to have a fridge in the room. Nice big bathtub--not common in Europe in my experience.

Room Tip: We had a room that faced the courtyard, so it was quiet.

very nice hotel for a weekend trip to Vienna, it also helped that we got an upgrade when we arrived! Don't be fooled by the chinzy lobby and corridors. Once in the room, it's very modern.
The staff was very friendly, the facilities perfect for a weekend trip. It wasn't very easy to find but once there, we could park for little money (weekend reates) right outside the hotel.
Our room was very modern and fab! a wet room with infra red equipment, a separate roll-top bath freestanding in the room, a chaise-long, bathrobes & slippers and a mini bar.
The bed was very comfortable and huge with proper feather pillows(always a sign for a good hotel) and the interior very modern and stylish. (sorry can't remember the room number but it was on the top floor)
Breakfast was superb. The wonderful buffet with every option available and a glass of bubbly on Sunday morning.
It's a bit of a walk into the centre of Vienna, but the Prater is nearby and there are good connections with tube, bus and tram.
Yes, if I go to Vienna agian, I'd stay here.

Room Tip: we stayed facing the main road, but even that was quiet all weekend.

Very good location, once you find it. It is a 5 minute walk from the train station when you know where you are going. Although not as close to the City center as I thought, it is still convenient and quiet.
The rooms are modern and clean, although the glass bathroom doesn't leave much room for privacy even for a couple married 41 years. However, great shower!!
The staff is very nice and helpful - Desiree especially. We were offered a complimentary welcome drink and a coupon for a restaurant down the street. Unfortunately, we didn't use the latter since it wasn't open our last night in the City.
Breakfast was very good, plenty to eat. However, the restaurant is only open for breakfast.
Computer in lobby was available and Wi-Fi has no issues, which both were complimentary.

Nice 4 stars property with quite good location near the Prater Park (ca 5 min by foot) but not central: to get there on need to use metro network which was availble few steps from the hotel. Our room was really modern and cosy, everything was clan, we had grat bathroom with huge shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful. good breakfast buffet was included in the price. generally it was good choice for weekend in Vienna.
