Stayed for two nights to attend a major conference. Great value single room, 3 minutes walk from the metro and only 2 stops to the conference centre. Other delegates were paying twice as much for worse rooms in less convenient locations.
Good buffet breakfast with lots of variety - including muesli with chocolate! Helpful staff.
Only criticisms were that the room, being on the top floor, was very hot before the air con kicked in (a couple of hours), and that the bathroom had a glass wall (though this being a single room, not a problem! Not sure if the doubles and larger are the same). Also, there is only one small lift to serve 42 rooms on five floors, which makes for congestion in the mornings

Room Tip: Top floor rooms quite small and hot

We chose the Hotel Vienna for convenience as we were collecting a vehicle the next morning. We were delighted with the friendly personalised service we received. The receptionist was very helpful and the hotel was very comfortable and the welcome drink in the bar at the hotel was a really nice touch. If you don't need to be right in the city centre, the Hotel Vienna is a great option.

I have been in Vienna three times and the first distinguishing part of Hotel Vienna is the warm welcoming of the employees. Reception was surprisingly helpful, kind, sincere, and willing to make you feel comfortable.

Location of the hotel is also convenient if you don't want to stay in the middle of the city center 24 hours. From airport, it is so easy to reach the hotel. You can take s-bahn S7 and take off train in Wien Praterstern station. From station it takes around 5 minutes on foot. Praterstern is also convenient to connect to metro and you can reach to city center within few stations.

Wireless connection of the hotel works perfectly well inside of the room. Bathroom of the room was spacious, clean and well decorated. The size of the room was fair enough. Decoration was not perfect, but I did not have any complain although we did not have any view from the window because our room was at the behind of the building. Breakfast was average. If you are expecting wide variety of food, you may get disappointed.

One of the shocking part was lack of air conditioning in the rooms. I never thought 4 start hotel without air conditioning. I visited Vienna in August and room was not so hot. We were able to sleep comfortably by opening our window. I am not sure if this works, when the weather is warmer.

In conclusion, due to sincere approach of the employees and location of the hotel; I find this hotel reasonably good. You should make the decision by comparing the room price with other places. In my experience, there was no major complaining side of the hotel. Beware about air conditioning though if you visit in June or July.

This hotel is a nice hotel but not nearly as good as a location as our previous hotel (Hotel Austria). We wanted to try seeing another part of the city. The room is good sized. There is no AC but a small portable AC unit was provided. The hotel had parking in the back of the hotel but I have no idea what they charge. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and the breakfast crew was very organized and efficient. The front desk clerks were all very, very helpful and gave us good directions and restaurant recommendations. The hotel is not close (at least easy walking distance) to the Hofburg Palace or the major museums but the Ubahn was close by and easy to use. We did not see a shopping area or many outdoor restaurants around. Our room faced the major road and it got quite noisy in the morning with all the workers moving about. The hotel was a nice hotel but not what I was looking for in a location.

Nicely remodeled room, great furniture and very clean. Do note that if you have 3 people staying together in one room like we did, they had a wonderful layout with a separate nook for one person, but there is no privacy as the bathroom walls are glass. Nice experience and amazing price!

Awesome hotel.
Great location: Walkable distance to many of the sites. Safe area.
Great service: Everyone at the front desk was helpful. Went the extra mile to help us out whenever we asked. e.g.) The guy walked outside and down the street with us to make sure we were parked legally. They gave directions and advice for using public transportation. They all spoke very good English when they realized how bad my German was!
Great breakfast included. Rolls, meat, and cheeses. Mueseli with dried fruit. Coffee maker with a number of options. Cake. Tomatoes/olive bar. Jams, Nutella. Juice.

Good clean rooms. Nothing luxurious, but a good size and very clean. Nice flat screen on the wall, big comfortable bed.

My only complaint was that parking was expensive: An extra 18 Euros per night. And there are only a few parking spaces, so you have to reserve them ahead of time. You don't need a car to get around the city at all, but we drove into town, so needed somewhere to park the car.

Room Tip: We lucked out and got one of the few rooms with a balcony. Maybe you can request these!

This hotel is newly renovated and the rooms are nice, comfortable and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. Although it is about a good 20 minute walk to the centre of the city, the metro station is only a few minutes walk and it is only 2 stops to St Stephens. We had a room facing the street and did find it a bit noisy in the early morning. The rooms at the back are quieter, and some have a balcony. There is a lift, so being on the 3rd floor was not a problem. The breakfast is really good, with a wide selection of cereal, fruit and yoghurt, cold meat and cheese and breads. The coffee machine makes great coffee. They will cook eggs if asked, not a problem. The staff were happy to keep our bags all day as we had a late flight out. I dont think there is any airconditioning. If you are there in summer you would need to check this.

Room Tip: Choose a back room if you want quiet, and ask about air conditioning if it is hot.
