During my last visit to Vienna, my hotel recommended restaurant Demi Tass for Indian dinner.
Though the name of the restaurant doesn't sound Indian, I was not sure whether the restaurant would be real Indian. But after reading about the CERTIFICATE OF EXCELENCE in Tripadvisor, I decided to to take chance.
Well I recommend to evreryone who is looking for an excellent candlelight Indian dinner in romantic Indian atmosphare, The food is much tastyer than one can imagine and service is very professional. We had ordered Samossa and Palak ki roti as starter which was made to order; was crispy and full of taste. As main dish, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamm Biryani and Makhani with Basmati Rice and Nan. For desserts, Pista kulfi with exotic fruits and Mango cuoup.
The restaurant is located just in front of the Bellevedare Palace and not from from the city centre. Taking the taxy from hotel cost € 15.00 or one can take a D Tram which leaves from Opera in the direction of Main Railway station.
