I wish we would have had more time at this lovely property, but we were on a very tight schedule. The Austria Trend Hotel staff accommodated us with early morning coffee and a stack of lunches for us to take on the train to Switzerland. The room was clean and spacious. We enjoyed this peaceful spot in Vienna for a much needed overnight rest.

Nice hotel near center, Opera and Bevedere museum. Lovely ambient, large rooms, food is only average. Saloon for meeting are great, acustic, Quite and climate. Sweets are nice, you should try them even if you are not a guest of a hotel

Some time it is not possible to understand managements of hotels. Trend Hotel Savoyen Vienna is an excellent hotel in great location. The rooms are very large, modern, and very good furnished. We stayed there 5 night and enjoyed the stay very much. I stayed in hundreds hotels during the years and it was the first time in a 4 stars hotel that there was no coffee or tea in the room. There was a kettle and cups but no coffee or tea. When I called the reception the answer was "you should buy a coffee kit"; I know that it sounds like a joke, but that is the policy of the hotel.
Hello hotel manager, please think again, do I need to bring my coffee to a 4**** hotel, or to buy a coffee kit every time that I want to drink a cup of hot coffee in the room ?

This is a big hotel so a bit impersonal but perfectly correct - clean, efficient, comfortable. Breakfast is expensive so we ate at the breakfast cafe just down the road opposite Belvedere park.
Sauna and fitness equipment all in good working order. Bus and metro close by for city ring road and centre

Arrived on a Sunday morning so admittedly parking out the front was easy to drop bags off. I parked on a street right next door and parking was free until 10am the next morning (we arrived at 11 on Sunday)
The porter was keen to sell me parking for €18 just not sure why?
The check in was fairly charisma free but very professional.
The room (on the 8th floor) benefitted from fabulous views of Vienna. Very sizeable with balcony and an incredibly high standard. Impeccably clean and a free mini bar. There was also the facility of free snacks, drinks and coffee etc in the lounge on floor 7; you will need your key card to gain access.
Breakfast was just about the finest buffet you'll see. Omelettes cooked in front of you and a range of high quality food fit for most tastes. On the first floor there are numerous pictures of famous people who have been previous guests. Jude Law was up there. I felt good knowing that if it's good enough for him...
The hotel is situated about a mile from the centre and it's an easy walk.
Quite pricey compared to what I'd normally like to pay but I left feeling it was worth every penny.
