Location - 1. next to the underground station, 2. the airport shuttle bus station is just in front of the hotel entry
Staff - nice and smiling, helpfull
Rooms - I didn't like the red colour in the room, but they are quite big and light, the table & chair not really usefull for working
Spa - very good new saunas (finnish and herb sauna), steam bath
Fitness - well equipped, good machines

Walking into the hotel you'll be taken back by all the red leather furniture with claw foot legs. The decor is unusual. It's a modern hotel, yet the decor is something else. The rooms are large and clean, very little in them, but what is in them is unusual. The bed was huge, the pillows tiny. The red leather furniture is carried through from the lobby to the rooms. The wall mirror looks like it came from a castle. The mini bar cabinet was just strange. Looked like someone bought a kit from IKEA and didn't know how to put it together. The TV was set in some strange frame. The bathroom was small and only had a shower. Having said that, I liked this hotel. The restaurant had an expansive Breakfast Buffet. Service was spot on, and you could either eat inside or out on the terrace. Hotel staff was friendly from the moment you walked in, always greeted with a smile. There are computers in the lobby with free internet, however, the connection time was extremely slow. The hotel is located on an island across from the Vienna International Center, and within walking distance to the Danube Tower. There is a subway station across from the hotel that can get you into the center of the city in about 5 stops.

Very conveniently located for Vienna Inernational Centre and the U1 Metro line (both just across the road). The hotel as a grand lobby entrance and very nice bar, restaurant and breakfast facilities. The restaurant / breakfast room backs onto the nearby park, so on nice sunny days its good to eat alfresco on the terrace under a parasol. The executive lounge is on the 5th floor where there's also a small gymn (only areobic equipment - no weights) and two saunas. They try to get you to upgrade to the executive floor on check-in, but you don't need to in order to use the gymn or sauna. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious with red leather themed furniture. Wireless internet service was reliable but you need to keep logging on each time with your room number and date of birth. The apples on the wall are complimentary but the bottles of water on the table are not. I thought they were but was charged on check-out. I was there only 3 nights. It was a good stay overall. There's about three or four nice big lifts so not a lot of waiting to go up and down. You need a room key to operate the lifts though.

I have stayed in the hotel three times in the past two years, while on business at the VIC, choosing the executive floor. I found it very convenient to be just across Wagramerstrasse, since it takes a few minutes to walk there. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The internet LAN is very good, which is very convenient to work at the room. The staff is friendly and efficient. I have only tried the UNO restaurant for breakfast, but since it's the most important meal to me I have found it good, although a bit expensive. The buffet allows a fast breakfast with a wide choice of food, and the environment is very pleasant. If you like to jog in the mornings, the Donaupark is an excellent choice, although you can use the hotel facilities if it's too cold outside.

Then, if you wish to go the Old Vienna, the U-Bahn will take you in a matter of minutes, where you can enjoy the amenities it has to offer.

Opposite VIC and 5 mins walk to U-Bahn, just in front of a park. Staff are well trained, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I stayed in the executive room which is well cleaned and bed is comfortable; price paid also include consumption of mini bar items and access to executive lounge on 5th floor where you could have a faster check out. Overall, everything is good with only one downside - the free wifi is not stable in the room as I keep getting dropped lines when I used my iphone.

Not in a convenient location for a tourist; must take underground to the city. It is near the United Nations building. No place to grab a snack or a meal nearby, not even a shop in the hotel for anything. Definitely a business hotel. I think tour companies use this hotel because it is cheap.
