This market is one of the better (and larger) Christmas Markets to visit. You can enjoy the warm red wine, Gluhwein, at any of the markets. The chocolate dipped fruit on a stick is also delicious, not to mention the fabulous hotdogs and pastries!

Went in the evening for an official dinner. Building has a quiet splendor, evoking history. In the front is a public skating rink adding a nice democratic touch in this neighborhood of Hapsburg palaces.

A very beautiful building you will never get bored looking at it. There is a huge park that we can use to chill out after a long walk at the city center. There was a movie & music festival during my visit, so Rathaus was always busy and interesting. Very easy to reach with trams and subways.

The City Hall is located in large nice park. The most famous event is probably the Christmas Market which takes part from half of November. It's usually a little bit overcrowded, but your kids can enjoy nice children workshops inside.

One of the very view magnificient city halls I have ever come around. Go inside and visit upper floors. The banquet hall and other rooms reminds of old era pricely palaces. The floorings, furnitures, windows, Walls, paintings are worth watching. When I visited their, childrens exhibition was on going at ground floor. Access to city hall may be some times confusing, just ask for help to any one at entry.
It's an must visit place in Vienna.
