The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable but the staff was great, kind and helpful. Especially Ajala, Aleks and Nazim! Even when the kitchen was closed they prepared us something to eat as it was raining outside and we were tired to go out for dinner. Many thanks to all of them!

Although not in the busy tourist center, it’s just behind the Rathaus (central, just a short walk to the center, very close to public transport hubs).
It’s a boutique hotel concept (small rooms) but stylish, with good taste and functionality. Perfectly clean and warm.
The staff is excellent and very attentive.

We booked Levante 3 months in advance for a family reunion though BOOKING.COM . 2 weeks befowre arrival Levante cancelled our reservarion claiming invalid credit card. We provided bank letter confirming card is valid, gave another card - they still cancelled. BOOKING.COM worked with us but were unbale to force hotel to respect reservation. Calls to hotel were not returned. BOOKING.COM said they take no responsibility: they are "just a platform" and we deal directly with hotel. Translation: you are on your own!
They at least offered to compensate difference between original booking and urgent one we made last minute for alternative hotel - at double the price = but only after I complete my stay (I will update my post after that again).
I travel a lot and this is the first time a hotel unilaterally cancelled a reservation and did not even give me a chance to a resolution.
I find it my responsibility to warn other travellers of such an attitude of LEVANTE hotel and of BOOKING.COM - as at this moment they both abandoned their customer.
P.S. I booked an alternative accomodation on HOTELS.COM and my "invalid" credit card worked just fine!
My family and I booked a weekend break for two families at this hotel in November. The booking was made months in advance for a special occasion and a deposit was held on a credit card. 10 days before the trip we were notified that the hotel had cancelled our room. When we asked to speak to the manager we were told he was away for a week and the hotel was now full. We’ve been left with flights and no hotel room for the weekend. The whole experience with this hotel has been very stressful, the general service has been abysmal, no apology received and general lack of service. I would highly advise you to avoid this hotel.
The hotel is very nice, quality built, and has good prices. The bed is comfortable. The place is only 800 meters distance from the Hofburg Palace, which makes it very convenient for walking. I recommend it.
