The Hotel is very coles to the main reference in Vienna Stephansplaz. Also short walk to the main popular and Commercial street. The Hotel is on a second floor and is small, I guess 7 or 8 rooms. Our room very confortable but the size of the shower is small. Everyrhing else thumbs up.

The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. It is located in a quiet street near the city centre, so it is ideal for sightseeing, shopping and dining. Its location on the 2nd floor of a building may make it difficult to find if you arrive vienna at night time.

The breakfast is a bit simple. Otherwise it is an excellent hotel.

We stayed at Pension Lumes in December for a couple of days. The best thing about this place is its location, very close to St Stephan's platz. It is a bit unusual and crammed, being located on one floor of an old building, not in top notch condition. There is no restaurant, just a small serving area for breakfast. Our room was large, with high windows and ceiling, which was nice, however the decoration is old style and out of any fashion. However, we were most of the time in the city, so the look of the room was secondary, location was far more important. The pension seems to be run by a Russian family, friendly and trying to make our stay pleasant. The price we paid was very high for the quality of this hotel, but again you pay for the very central location.

No porter to help you with your luggage, very old building, very old elevator and very small, you lock the rooms with an actual keys, you have to ring a bell to open the hotel door, no air conditioning only fans and we booked it in august. Beds are very old. Simply it's a two star hotel. If you are used to 4or 5 stars hotels you'll be shocked if you see this place. To be fair the location is the only good thing about this hotel. I stayed there for 10 minutes I couldn't spend the night.

Our group of 6 stayed here for a week over Christmas. This apartment was great- lots of space (for an old-town European hotel), washing machine, dishwasher, wifi (a bit dodgy but mostly worked). Very good location, just a few minutes walk from St Stephens church, the main street, public transport and many restaurants. The lady on reception when we arrived did not speak English, but she was nice and we worked it out.

This pleasant and unobtrusive pension is a typical European pension (bed-and-breakfast) hotel in a rather unusual setting. The hotel is located in the neighborhood just off of the Stadtpark (City Park) in central Vienna. The hotel reception is on the second floor of a large combination residential-commercial typical Viennese courtyard building. My room was very comfortable with a double and also a single bed, in-room bath, TV and small refrigerator. It was very clean and the hotel personnel are very friendly although non-German speakers seem rather scarce. The breakfast is also typical for the region and is generous both in proportion and time available, from 0715-ish to 1030. They also have flats available.
This hotel is not for those who expect four-star of five-star facilities or service; it certainly does not rate the four stars that they advertise. Its location and character are likely not for those who are either novice or high-maintenance travelers. For those who are however a bit adventurous or who are seasoned travelers this is a very good, and VERY reasonably priced-choice for a place to lay one's head in the middle of what can be very expensive central Vienna.

In the Vienna center. Good quality for price. Pleasant welcome.
A little bit noisy in the rooms.
Calm situation
Be careful with the taxi from hotel to airport : he has asked 40 + return !! It's very unpleasant
